“How Slow is Slow?

Have you ever noticed when you take a flight and it’s time to land, the plane goes from fast to slow in a short period of time?

The 500 mph your plane is travelling to get you to your destination seems to accelerate the closer you get to the ground. Your field of view narrows and your visual perception makes the terrain and buildings appear to move faster than when you were at cruising altitude.

The shift in the housing market in recent months has been a bit like landing at an airport. The housing market has been travelling at 500 mph for two years until higher rates have forced the plane to land. And with that landing, a perception that the housing market shift is moving faster than it appears.

So where and when is the plane going next?
